Communication

Children thrive when care work and parents work respctfully together. With support from one another and a successful partnership we can provide an expert learning environment for your child. Good communication and continuous feed back to all parents is encouraged by the Nursery.

Parents are the prime educators and we consider your wishes paramount. Your support and involvement with the nursery is important to our staff who will use their expertise, care and commitment to provide a quality learning environment. We welcome any constructive input and comments to ensure the best care for your child.

All relevant information is provided for parents on our notice boards. We will endeavour to inform you, in the first instance, of infectious illnesses, staff changes, forth coming events, such as outings, pantomime visits, annual photographer, sponsored events and more.

We photograph the children during their activities, and display them on the walls, giving you an insight into the daily happenings. We have a Facebook page, which we use to share photos and advertise events and current news.

We use Email to communicate effectively with parents. Photographs of the staff and their educational achievements and certificates are available in the Nursery Office.

Welfare
We consider health and safety of each child of upmost importance and each child is allocated a ‘key person’ when they first start at the Nursery.  This ‘key person’ will ensure that your child feels individually cared for. Children’s meals are cooked on site every day by our qualified cook. We use fresh fruit and vegetables and source meat locally. We cater for all allergies and dietary requirements.
